Conceptual Studies Print

Rudplan works very closely with the client's team to prepare scoping studies. The scoping study is generally defined as the first level study and preliminary evaluation of projects. The estimates are mostly based on assumptions and factors and on Rudplan's extensive database of completed projects.

A scoping study may be prepared on different options of project's components in order to identify the applicable scenarios and indicate the timeframe required to develop more detailed studies.

Rudplan's scoping studies provide the following information to our clients:

  • The identification of project assumptions that will require additional information or test work;
  • The evaluation of design options related to different components of the project;
  • The identification and broad location of major components of the project and preliminary environmental considerations;
  • An order of magnitude of capital and operating costs;
